- Description
- The Navy requires 10 additional NS50 Silver/Zinc batteries to be used as aging and surveillance samples. NSWC Crane intends to procure these items on a sole source basis from Yardney Technical Products via a firm-fixed price modification to contract N00164-03-C-6921. Batteries are to be manufactured IAW Critical Item Development Specification ME-PD-73-10B and a footprint drawing that was provided with the original contract solicitation. Delivery of the 10 batteries is required approximately 10 months from the date of a contract modification and will be FOB destination NSWC Crane. Inspection and acceptance of the sample batteries will be at origin by DCMA Hartford. The applicable NAICS Classification is 335912 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
