- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation, F22608-03-Q-0002 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. Award resulting from this Request for Quotation will be made under FAR 13.5 Test Program. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 488490, (other automotive repair and maintenance) and the small business size is $6.0 Million per year. This is advertised as 100% HUBZONE SET ASIDE. To provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to perform the following services: Vehicle Operations & Maintenance Services: The contractor shall meet all requirements and responsibilities for vehicle operations and maintenance on Columbus AFB, MS. All staff shall be fully trained, professional, and customer oriented, consistently providing responsive, flexible, and cost effective service. Quality work performance in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines shall be ensured. The service will incorporate a base and two option years. FOB: Destination of delivery and service area will be to 14 MSG/LGRT, 42 Sixth Street, Columbus AFB, MS 39710. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be accessed at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR registration must be completed before award can be made.
