- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland because of their location within a 5 block radius of the Inner Harbor and the availability of conference space and catering services on April 26 ? 30, 2004. The conference space will include one secure ballroom with 10 concurrent breakout rooms and 2 secure office spaces. The breakout room will be classroom style and theater style rooms. This is not a request for quotes: quotes submitted in response to this notice will not be considered. Interested parties that believe they can provide the required service must respond to this notice no later than 12:00 noon EST September 5, 2003. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SSA-RFQ-04-0010. Responses should be emailed to michele.tubman@ssa.gov or addressed to the Social Security Administration, Office of Acquisition and Grants. Attn: Michele Tubman, 1710 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21207. FAXED RESPONSES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged.
