- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-03-T-0302 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is issued on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside basis. The NAICS Code 314110, size standard 500 employees. The USS OBannon (DD 987), Naval Station, Mayport, Fl., 32228 requires renovation of the following habitability spaces: Wardroom: 1. Remove existing overhead in wardroom area, remove light fixtures, clean dampers and diffusers and repaint to match, provide and install new grid system 48" x 24" type F, provide and install new 24" x 24" PVC aluminum backed panel, reinstall ventilation dampers and diffusers; 2. Remove existing carpet, prep and repair decks as needed, provide and install new Fed Spec DDD-C-95 type II class I 100% wool carpet (approx 102 sq yds); Officers Staterooms: 1. Remove existing carpet, prep and repair decks as needed, provide and install new Fed Spec DDD-C-95 type II class II 100% wool carpet (approx 164 sq yds); work to be performed in the following spaces: 01-324-2-L, 01-335-2-L, 01-346-2-L, 01-358-2-L, 01-371-0-L, 01-61-0-L, 01-346-0-L, 01-358-1-L, 01-370-1-L; The government point of contact on board the ship is LT Bowidowicz, 904/270-5980.
