- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This request is being issued as Request for Quotation Q1440030455. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13. FAR clauses and provision are available through Internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is 100% set aside for small business and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423320. The Government anticipates making multiple awards for this solicitation, and vendors need not quote on all items for their quote to be considered. The following is a description of the requirements for this acquisition: CLIN 0001: 2500 Tons of ?" Road Base Rock material, delivered FOB Destination to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Wahweap Bone Yard, Page, Arizona. CLIN 0002: 1014 Ton of Cold Mix Asphalt using ?" aggregate and MC 800 oil delivered FOB Destination to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Wahweap Bone Yard, Page, Arizona. CLIN 0003: 770 Ton of Cold Mix Asphalt using ?" aggregate and MC 800 oil delivered FOB Destination to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Bullfrog Maintenance Yard, Lake Powell, Utah. CLIN 0004: 45,000 pounds of Rubberized Road Crack Sealing Material ASTM 3405 delivered FOB Destination to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Wahweap Maintenance Area, Page, Arizona 86040. Delivery schedule will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative on-site. Approximate start date September 30, 2003 subject to award of contract.
