- MODIFICATION: This action originally publicized in FEDBIZOPS dated 082703 is modified by deleting the small business set aside requirement and the size standard is changed to "unrestricted". All other terms and conditions remains the same as follows: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued." Solicitation No. SMN00030302 herein is cited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The commercial items policies of FAR Part 12 will be used in conjunction with the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. Solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. NAICS Code: 421390 , Small Business Size Standard: Unrestricted . (Description) Reinforcing Steel, Grade 60, FOB Delivered, (Quantity) 40,756 Kilogram, (Unit Price) $ _ , (Total Bid Amount) $ . Item Description: The Contractor shall furnish Reinforcing Steel, Grade 60, in accordance with government design plans (contact Darin Dona for copies of the design plans), the material shall conform to AASHTO Specification M 31M, (ASTM A 615M) Grade 420, and Section 554 (Reinforcing Steel) of FP-96. Measurement and Payment shall be in accordance with Section 109, Measurement and Payment. All delivery shall be completed within 30 calendar days after date of contract award and Material CERTS shall be on hand upon delivery of materials. Acceptance shall be in accordance with FP-96, Section 106, Acceptance of Work. Deliver FOB destination to Project N5000 located in the vicinity of Toadlena, New Mexico (approximately 27 miles south of Shiprock, New Mexico on US Route 666 to Sanostee junction and west to the delivery location), on the Navajo Nation. FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commerical Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors shall include with their quotations a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition.
