- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a modification to an existing contract for the purchase of services necessary to perform additional enhancement of the Real-time I/R E/O Scene Simulator system capabilities (including post processing tools improvements, enhanced surface to air missile simulation, scenario validation, exection speed improvement nad modeling methodology). The RISS is part of the current Simulation Network (SIMNET) consisting of existing and future Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulators (CEESIMs) and Real-time Infrared Scene Simulators (RISSs) at the ECPG?s facilities at Robins AFB, GA. The CEESIM and RISS are manufactured by Amherst Systems, Inc. of Buffalo, New York. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to restrict competition to the qualified source only, Amherst Systems, Buffalo, NY. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice if intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO below for additional information.
