- NA PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS (not a notice of solicitation issue): This is a Pre-Solicitation notification of proposed contractual action prior to the release of the Request For Proposal (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.203(a). The United States Air Force, 88 Air Base Wing Environmental Management Office Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is requesting proposals for Laboratory Sample Analytical Testing Services. This effort also includes that the contractor being required to furnish all equipment, labor, supplies, and supervision, to perform all operations necessary for the pickup, holding, packaging, shipping, and analysis of gas, liquid, solid samples, or combination of each, collected by WPAFB personnel. A copy of the solicitation including the Statement of Work once posted may be obtained from: 88ABW/PKD, POC: Eugene Harvey, 1940 Allbrook Dr. Suite 3 Rm 109, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433-5309; or by email address: Eugene.Harvey@wpafb.af.mil; or by requesting solicitation be transmitted by either first class mail or electronically UPON ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION . This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, ?Acquisition of commercial Items?. Time for submission of proposals: Request For Proposal Issuance Date: 15 September 2003 Closing Date: 15 Oct 2003 no later than 4:00 Eastern Daylight Time. The resulting contract will be a basic effort with four one-year options for Environmental Management services. This will be a Full and Open Competition utilizing procedures under FAR 6.401(b) (2).
