- DTFA01-04-R-00001: CORRECTIVE & PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has installed significant quantities of security systems and equipment at facilities located throughout its nine regions. The warranties on this equipment have begun to expire and will continue to do so for the next few years. As these warranties expire, an alternative method of obtaining preventative and corrective maintenance will be required. Please read all of the attachments for complete details of the FAA's intention. This announcement will be posted on the following sites: AWA, AWP, AEA, ASO, ASW, ANW and AGL. It is the same announcement with idential information.
