Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Department of Justice intends to negotiate a contract with the Austin American Statesman, Austin, Texas, El Paso Times, El Paso, Texas and the San Antonio Express News for the advertisement of legal notices on judicial cases involved in Asset Forfeiture. The Newspaper must be of general circulation and approved advertising must advertise the required time, and dependent upon the legal notice, in the Sunday Newspaper. The Austin American Statesman, The El Paso Times and The San Antonio Express News are the only known sources that have been identified as capable of providing the advertising in Austin, El Paso, San Antonio, Texas and their surrounding areas. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in each of these locations , under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all inquiries received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government . Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries must be made by email or faxed to the point of contact.
