- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Desert Southwest Customer Service Region (DSW) intends to issue a contract on a sole-source basis to GE Energy Management Services, Inc. under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1) - "only one responsible source" to provide 24-hour emergency software help desk support for Western?s SCADA system software. The basis for the sole source award to GE Energy Management Services, Inc is as follows: GE Energy Management Services, Inc. is uniquely qualified to perform the tasks defined in this Statement of Work due to their proprietary GE Energy Management Services, Inc designs that no other vendor has access to. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible sources may provide a proposal.
