- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Scott AFB IL, will acquire services to provide software sustainment and enhancement support for the Cornerstone Foreign Visitor Program. The contractor is required to provide and support user training, provide technical and operational assistance; support analysts providing analysis and liason activities; continue maintenance; and provide technical enhancements. Aspex is the designer and developer of the current software. The customer requires uninterrupted service and additional time required to familiarize a new contractor with the software code would cause delays in design and development of essential program enhancements and would be unacceptable in fulfilling the customer?s requirements. The Government intends on issuing a sole-source, direct award to Aspex, Inc., 3204 Dominy Ct, Oakton VA 22124. Period of performance is 1 Oct 03 through 30 Sep 04 with 4 one-year options. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes for this procurement are 541412 and 7379 respectively. Numbered note 26 applies to this procurement. Contract performance is restricted to various approved U.S. Government/contractor leased facilities.
