Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, DTCG81-03-Q-JA090, is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 313311 and Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Item Description: (MODIFIED) 2ND GENERATION ECWCS PANT, 35-AT104 THAT MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF MIL-DTL-31011A AND COAST GUARD NAVY BLUE SHADE 3362. Quatity: 230 Each. One half of the quantity stated will be delivered to the following address: USCG MSST 91110, 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109 and the other half will be delivered to USCG MSST91105, Coast Island, Alameda, CA 94501. Required Delivery Date is September 30, 2003. If quotes are not FOB Destination, indicate Point Of Origin and shipping/freight cost. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and delivery time factors considered. FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror?s Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001) MUST AND SHALL be completed and submitted with the RFQ?s. NO CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO QUOTES LACKING THIS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION SET FORTH IN THIS SOLICITATION. FAR Clause that applies to this RFQ: 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997).
