Description

SSA intends to purchase 10 additional T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition devices with voice and data service (provisioned for Attach? 3.0), 10 additional Blackberry 957 Units (8Meg) with client access license packs (provisioned for ?Blackberry by Aether? branded Blackberry services and licenses) and maintenance support, airtime and server/device licenses from Aether Systems, Inc 11460 Cronridge Drive, Owings Mills, MD. Aether Systems? proprietary software ?Blackberry by Aether? and ?Attach? 3.0? is already used for pre-existing identical units installed over the previous year. This software is resident on relay servers inside SSA?s fire walled environment and are pointed to the Aether Network Operations Center in Owings Mills, Maryland. Vendors who can provide all of the equipment and proprietary server and client software as well as maintenance and the provisioning services should respond to this notice within 15 days of the publication. Responses should reference LH-03-006 and maybe e-mailed to the address provided above.
