- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ03-107 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. Line item no. 1) Tri-Band Converters Quantity two (2) each for use in satellite communications. These units fulfill a form, fit, and function for satellite communications in the C, X, and Ku band frequencies. Unit Specifications are as follows: Type: Dual Conversion; Frequency Tuning Step Size: 1 KHz; Output Frequencies: 5.845-6.425, 7.9-8.4, 14.0-14.5 GHz; Input: 140 MHz; Group Delay Equalization: 2.0 ns peak-to-peak maximum +/- 36 MHz; Input Impedance: 50 Ohms; Return Loss: 26 dB minimum; Output Impedance: 50 Ohms; Return Loss: 20 dB minimum; Output Power: +5 dBm minimum (1dB compression) IF/RF gain 20 dB; Gain: 30 dB (nominal); Image Rejection: 80 dB minimum; Level Stability: +/- 0.25 dB/day at constant temperature; Noise Figure: 25 dB maximum; Gain Adjustment step size: 0.2 dB; Frequency Stability: +/- 2 x 10-8, 0 to 50 degrees C; Reference Timing: External 5 MHz; Remote Interface: IEEE-488; Standard Warranty, Operation and Maintenance Manual, No integration Services requested.
