- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office located at Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Sea-Bird Electronics (SBE) of Bellevue, WA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c). This requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes the maintenance and calibration of government-owned conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) systems manufactured by SBE. The contractor shall use its own facilities; test, repair, and calibration systems; and materials to accomplish all work. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
