- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price type contract for consulting services to review the current roles and responsibilities of the Naval Inspector General (NAVINSGEN), Naval Audit Service (NAVAUDSVC), and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), as required by the Secretary of the Navy, the Chief of Naval Operations, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps in Washington, D.C. The resulting contract will be from 11 September 2003 to 15 December 2003. This requirement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 54199. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. All responsible sources must submit past performance, technical, and pricing data in accordance with the instructions set forth in the RFP, SF 1449, to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center by no later than 4 P.M on 02 September 2003 Eastern Standard Time.
