Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ, has a requirement for the acquisition of Oxygen Mask, Regulator, Helmet, and Communications Test Sets for US Navy and Marine Corp maintenance activities. The test sets will provide for functional testing of various types of pilots/aircrew oxygen mask and helmet assemblies. The item shall be a portable oxygen regulator, mask, helmet and communications test set capable of testing all personnel mounted aviator's breathing oxygen regulators, masks, helmets and communications in the Navy inventory. The requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying commercial items as defined by Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Government is anticipating a 5-year firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a minimum of 10 test sets and a maximum of 58 test sets. The base quantity will consist of a First Article Test set, initial training, data items and ten production sets. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government technical, management, past performance, experience and price considered. Hard copies of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors. The Government will NOT accept electronic offers. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Business", then "Doing Business With Us" and "Open Solicitations". Look for any amendments on the web page for Solicitation No. N68335-03-R-0054 which will be issued on or about 9/15/2003.
