Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a non-competitive contract with Ringhaver Equipment in Palm Bay, FL to repair and refurbish two Caterpillar D6D Bulldozers at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Titusville, FL. Ringhaver is the only certified Caterpillar service facility located within a reasonable delivery distance from the refuge. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion.
