- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # DAHA49-03-T-0167 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circula r 2001-15. This solicitation is unrestricted. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 423840. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract . A brief synopsis of the required services is as follows: CL IN 0001 motorized box assembly which raises and lowers the United States Flag. CLIN 0002 Installation costs for the motorized operating system. CLIN 0003 Installation costs for the manual operating system. The requirement includes a protective steel bo x to contain the entire flag and the operating system. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday the 4th of September 2003 at 1:30 P.M. The subject product shall be installed at the District of Columbia Air National Guard, Andrews Air Force Base, MD, 20762-5011. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR provision 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (May 2002) shall be completed and submitted with the offer; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (May 2002) ; FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as is they were given in full text); FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text); DFAR 252.204-7004 R equired Central Contractor Registration; DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. *Note: The full text of a clause/provision may be accessed electronically at this address: http://farsite.hill.af. mil.
