- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, F45613-03-Q-B022, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15, effective 25 August 03. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332813. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This project is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. Unit Small Business specialist is Marion Nelson, 509-247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA, http://sba.gov. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to sandblast, prime and repaint 84 pieces of AGE equipment as described in the attached statement of work. The list of equipment is attached. The equipment shall be primed using epoxy primer MIL-P-23377 and the equipment shall be painted using polyurethane MIL-C-85285B color 24052, semi-gloss green. The units will be prepped, delivered and picked up by Air Force personnel only if the contractor is located within 50 miles of Fairchild AFB. The following Provisions and Clauses apply to this announcement: Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors--Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the lowest total price.
