- This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F43RC332240100. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2003-03-01. NAICS Code 443120 (Computer and Software Stores) applies to this procurement. The customer has submitted a purchase request for the brand name product. No brand name justification has been submitted with the request. If you can furnish an ?or equal?, please submit a quote. If your ?or equal? quote becomes the lowest bid, the quote will be reviewed by a technical evaluator that will make the final determination on if your "or equal" will be adequate enough for the governments requirement. If the "or equal" will not meet the minimum requirement, the customer will submit a brand name letter justifying his decision. If the contracting officer approves the brand name letter, the bidder with the lowest ?or equal? will be notified by e-mail.
