- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND for a purchase of eight (8) Work Stations with tool storage abilities. The specifications and requirements for Work Stations are as follows: Item: Single-use Work Station Dimensions: 72?L x 30?W x 65?H Item For Reference: The Work Stations required must be equal to or similar to the Work Station manufactured by Snap-On Industrial, reference part number: CKRWL001PBO. Main Features Description: - Heavy-gauge steel construction - Double-wall construction - Heavy duty ball-bearing slides for smooth operation of heavily loaded drawers - 1.75-inch hardwood top - ?Z? stiffeners between panels to withstand side loads - Roller drawer edges to keep drawers rigid and in place Main Purpose: Will be used in a motor vehicle repair facility for mechanical work and storage of tools and parts. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337124; size standard of 500 employees. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THE GOVERNMENT MAY CANCEL THIS RFQ AT ANY TIME IF FUNDS DO NOT BECOME AVAILABLE. IF FUNDS DO BECOME AVAILABLE THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO THE VENDOR WHO SUPPLIES THE SUCCESSFUL QUOTE. Provisions that apply to this acquisition: - FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial - FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Contractor must included completed copies the following provisions with the quote/proposal: - FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (July 2002) - DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). The above-listed provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
