- APPROXIMATE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 6 Oct. 2003 Hill Air Force Base, Utah has a requirement for refurbishment of pistons on aircraft A-10, KC-135, C-5, C-130, C-135, C-141, F-4, and F-15 ? a minimum of 32 different NSNs are included in the parts list. Seeking a contractor who can provide the necessary facilities, machinery, tools, and personnel to accomplish this requirement. Contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Quantity, one year + one option year. There will either be a minimum quantity or dollar value guaranteed to the contractor. Expected workload dollar value for first year is approximately $1.5MIL. Attachment: Draft Statement of Work with parts list. Note: This is a request for sources sought synopsis. Any interested contractor is requested to send a capabilities statement, indicating interest, abilities, and past performance information on similar or same items to the point of contact listed above no later than the close date of 12 Sept. 2003.
