Description: To provide an easily operated and deployable automated system to output electronic measurement data in formats that fielded logistics information technology (IT) systems could readily accept and enhance expeditionary combat support goals. Provide a prototype measurement system that will weigh and profile cargo with commercially available, portable weighing mats and diffuse reflective laser scanning technologies. Host software on a laptop for prototype system control. Demonstrate capabilities of new system. Solicitation should be rleased on/or about the 28th of Aug. A vendor day is scheduled on/or about the 9th of Sept.
