- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes under Solicitation No. RFQ 786-43-04 for the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and supplies necessary for the inscription of decedent data on marble niche covers for the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518, from the date of contract award through September 30, 2004 (base period) with up to four (4) one (1)-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2008. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. The Government will furnish blank marble niches and/or markers to the contractor for the purpose of this contract. The contractor shall be required to pick up blank niches from the cemetery and deliver inscribed marble niches, f.o.b. destination, to the cemetery. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 561990. Size standard is $6 million. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Cheryl Harding, Contract Specialist, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (402D31), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference solicitation number RFQ 786-43-04 on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about September 2, 2003, via the ordinary mail. A copy of the solicitation may be obtained electronically FREE OF CHARGE via VA's Business Opportunities System at the following URL Address: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=RFQ786-43-04. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from the URL address on or about September 2, 2003. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:00 p.m., September 23, 2003.
