- Description
- The VA Boston Healthcare System, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02310, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 intends to negotiate a firmed fixed price with EIC Laboratories for the research study of electrode materials to support further work of the MEEI/MIT effort in the development of our retinal prosthesis effort. The overall objective is to identify electrode coatings suitable for use in epi-retinal prosthesis and to conduct a study of the long-term electrochemical stability of the coatings under anticipated electrical pulsing conditions. The project is estimated at approximately 62,500 dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. No solicitation is available. The NAICS code is 541710. A notice not to compete is solely the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantages to the Government. Responses must be received by Monday, September 09,2003, 12 noon. No telephone inquires will be accepted.
