- MT PFH 29-1(1), LAKESIDE TO NELSON ROAD, Helena National Forest, Lewis and Clark County, Montana. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS FULL & OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF 5.14 km of foamed asphalt base stabilization, asphalt concrete pavement, geogrid reinforced earth fill, guardrail, striping, and signing. The project consists of construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; temporary traffic control; 149 m silt fence; remove 224 m guardrail; 584 sq m geogrid; 260 cu m structure excavation; 584 sq m geogrid reinforced earth fill; 694 t minor crushed aggregate; 660 t stockpiled aggregate; 34,849 sq m foamed asphalt base stabilization; 4,190 t hot asphalt concrete pavement; 450 sq m asphalt pavement milling; 170 m guardrail; 107 m fence; 5 sq m sign installation; 31,000 m permanent pavement markings; 800 flagger hrs; 400 pilot car hrs; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 20 km northeast of Helena, Montana. Work shall be completed by July 20, 2004. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
