- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a purchase order to the University of Florida, Aquatic Food Products Laboratory, P.O. Box 110376, Gainesville, Florida 32611. The contractor shall provide administrative and clerical support to the Seafood HACCP Alliance Steering Committee to enable it to function as the decision making body for the Alliance, and to ensure that: 1) The existing materials are maintained, updated as necessary to remain consistent with changes in HACCP theory and FDA guidance, and distributed on demand; 2) A cadre of trained, certified instructors is maintained; 3) Training needs are identified and training courses are organized to address those needs, and; 4) New initiatives are prioritized and organized as needs related to the core training mandate are identified. The contractor shall submit a final report within 30 day of completion of the period of performance. FDA anticipates a one (1) year period of performance. This notice is for information purposes. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
