- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a purchase order to the Joan Mondschein, 6655 North Canyon Crest Drive, Tucson, AZ 85750. The contractor shall provide services to develop a food safety and security plan that builds upon the Nation?s core food safety/public health systems and expertise that strengthens FDA expertise and capabilities to address the terrorist threat. This plan must be comprehensive and address the full range of assessment, prevention and response needs, throughout the food production and distribution chain. The plan must also address partnerships with other entities involved in food safety and security, particularly other federal, state and local governments. FDA anticipates a six (6) month period of performance. This notice is for information purposes. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
