- Sources sought for the Book of Mormon. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside buy with a base year plus 4 (four) 365 day Option Years with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 3695 and a guaranteed maximum quantity of 6650. There are 3 (three) deliveries under the base year, and the first delivery order quantity is 1230. This is a Best Value solicitation using the Evaluation Factors of 2 PDMs (Product Demonstration Models) and Past Performance. The destination of SNT (New Cumberland, Pa.) will be utilized. The National Stock Number (NSN) is 9925-01-353-8790. No pattern is available, and the book is soft cover, 5" x 3 1/4" x 1. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102 (d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solictation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home AFTER 9/15/03. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
