- Description
- The solicitation is to establish an indefinite quantity contract that will provide coverage for military customers in the continental United States(CONUS),military customers outside of the continental United States(OCONUS)and Foreign Military Sales(FMS). The scope of this long-term initiative is the purchase of part number items as well as competitive items(AMSC "G" and "T") where Automatic Switch Company, Cage Code 04845, is an approved source and/or has supplied the item in the past either directly or through dealers whether or not the NSNs are ultimately provided from Automatic Switch Company. In addition to those items specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this initiative includes all DLA managed items in which Automatic Switch Company is an approved source and/or has supplied the item in the past either directly or through dealers. This would encompass all supply centers' NSNs as well as other services. Items within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract(s) at a later date in accordance with Clause H12, Addition/Deletion of Items on Schedule. All NSNs that have currently been indentified to be within the scope are available for download under the "Acquisition Download" menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board Systems(DIBBS)under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract/Tailored Support Solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/. Access is also available via the World Wide Web(www)at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. Award will be made on an all or none basis per NSN for the supplies covered under this solicitation. FSCs currently covered/included in the solicitation are 2910,3120,3510,4130,4310, 4730,4810,4820,5305,5307,5310,5315,5325,5330,5331,5340,5360,5365, 5840,5905,5910,5930,5945,5950,5961,5980,5999,6150,6210,6685,7320, and 9150. All responsible sources may submit and offer/quote, which shall be considered. See Note(s):12 and 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 9/15/2003. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS or SRweb solicitqation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date(only applicable to AMSC G). Specifications,plans or drawings are not available(only applicable to NSNs other than AMSC G or T). The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plue option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class(see above). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery,past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
