- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial IT procurement for National Imagery & Mapping Agency(NIMA). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334310. This has been prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. All clauses and provisions should be read and reviewed carefully, as they provide submission instructions and/or contain fill-ins. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items (Evaluation Factors-Proposals will be evaluated based on factors identified below in order to relative importance: (a) Technical[Past Performance will be evaluated as part of the Technical] &(b); FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items (Offerors are advised to include a complete copy of this provision with their offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items; FAR 52-212-5, Commercial Terms and Conditions Required Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (appropriate clause will be checked at the time of award); Privacy or Security Safeguards; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Status or Execute Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (appropriate clauses will be checked at time of award); 5X52.227-9000. Unauthorized Use of NIMA Name, Seals & Initials; 252.204-7000, Disclosure of Information, and FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Central Contractor Registration. In order to receive an award, the contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database as prescribed in DFARs 252.294-7004. The CCR Database can be obtained by accessing the Internet or calling 1-888-227-2423. additionally, NIMA intends to issue an award for the procurement of; 1 each Media Composer System with Adrenaline DNA and Software, 1 each HP XW8000 2.8 GHz Dual Processor CPU with 1GB RAM, 2 each Memory 512MB RAM, PC, 1 each Custom PC Keyboard, 1 each PC Cable Kit for Avis Adrenalin, 1 each 2GB Optical Vibre Controller, 1 each Kit, Dual Powered Speakers, ll0V, 1 each 2044GB MEDIArray II Rackmount(14X147GB), 1 each Maintenance, Bas Assurance, MC Adrenaline 9am-9pm EST, On-Site installation, Single System, including local travel. Media Composer System and peripherals shall be 508 compliant.
