- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-03-Q-0671 is being issued as a request for proposal. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under standard industrial classification code 3663, NAICS Code 334220, small business size standard of 750 employees. (V) The part numbers used in this synopsis/solicitation are from Aquacom. Please propose the items as listed: Line item 0001, DRS-100B Diver Audio Recall/Hydrophone System: The DRS-100B Diver Recall/Hydrophone system is U.S. Navy approved and used by Special Warfare units around the world. The DRS-100B is a dive supervisor's best friend, allowing him to recall free-swimming divers. It will alert all divers within range with either voice, solid or intermittent tones. The DRS-100B also offers a listening mode that is great to hear marine biological and/or man-made noise. The system comes complete with a high-quality hand-held microphone, transducer with 25' of cable, rechargeable batteries, battery charger and main electronic unit. Nominal Range: 100 yards voice, 300 yards tone. Frequency Response: 500 to 4,000 Hz. Input Current/Voltage: 7 amps maximum/24 VDC. Audio Power: Recall & Tone: 132 Watts, Voice: adjustable up to 132 Watts. Idle Current: 75 Ma. Microphone: Hand held, PTT. Transducer: Lubell (anodized aluminum). Battery Life: 5 hours at 20% duty cycle (recall/tone). 3 hrs. when using Aux. Input. Battery Type: 2 12 volt 2.6 amp hrs.(RB-30). Low Battery Alarm: LED flashes at approximately 20 volts. Housing Dimensions: D: 10.60", W: 14.00", H: 6.5", Weight: 15 lbs. Quantity: (4) each. (VI) Place of delivery: 3271 First Street, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. F.O.B. POINT IS DESTINATION. (VII) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (VIII) Provision 52-212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items applies. Proposal will be evaluated on price, price related factors and past performance. (IX) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer. (X) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XI) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XII) N/A. (XIII) N/A. (XIV) N/A.
