- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to procure the Administrative Services associated with the operation/oversight of the IRS/NTEU Child Care Subsidy Program. The acquisition is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), solicitation document number TIRNO-03-Q-00111. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those set forth in FAR Part 13 shall be used. Contractors shall provide a technical proposal/quote for the administrative fee to perform the services associated with the IRS/NTEU Child Care Subsidy Program in accordance with the Statement of Work. The IRS requires the services of a contractor to process subsidy applications and determine employee eligibility. The contractor must also be able to receive a specified sum of money from the IRS and distribute to child care providers as child care assistance. The funds that are to be distributed to licensed childcare providers for the base year is estimated at $250,000.00 minus the administrative fee. Funding for additional option years is estimated at $1,000,000.00 per year minus administrative fee. The period of performance for the services shall consist of a base year and two option years. This is 100% set aside for small business, under simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible sources that can provide the above requested services may download a written copy of the solicitation package as posted on FedBizOpps. Award will be made to the firm meeting the technical evaluation criteria at the best overall value to the government. All quotations must be received by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, July 24, 2003. Quotes may be sent by facsimile to (202) 283-1511 or by mail as referenced above.
