- Description
- The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to procure commercial Backplane Cabinets for secure telephone network on a sole source basis from CR International Inc. The procurement includes the following: Backplane Cabinets (included power supplies, software, voice modems, serial hubs, STE handsets and cables) and Enclave Interface Devices (EID cards) to support Secure Terminal Equipment(STE-R) systems. Authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Please submit all written notifications via e-mail to palmerki@nima.mil and gipsony@nima.mil. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Only written responses will be considered.
