- Description
- The Department of Defense Schools (DoDDS) Pacific Procurement Division located in Okinawa, Japan is issuing a request for information (RFI) seeking sources of qualified presenters/educational trainers to provide school administrators training in instructional supervision in a standards based school. The Education Directorate of DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Activity) provides educational programs for our overseas (DoDDS) and domestic (DDESS) schools. Our academic programs follow a six-year curriculum cycle, Curriculum Development and Assessment Adoption Cycle. The adopted performance standards that identify what students should know and be able to do at each grade level are revised during step 2 of the cycle. The DoDEA curriculum standards can be viewed at the DoDEA Website www.odedodea.edu or by clicking on the following link: Http://www.odedodea.edu/instruction/curriculum/curriculum.htm#web The presenter/trainer must have an in-depth knowledge of standards based education, the necessary components of a standards based classroom/school, and the necessary skills for a school administrator to possess while observing and analyzing instruction. Training will take place during a conference type setting over a 3 or 4 day time period. The location and dates of training in the Pacific area is TBA. Qualified presenters/educational trainers shall be capable of becoming familiar with the DoDEA standards based education model and design administrative training which will reinforce this model. Interested/qualified sources must be registered and provide their Central Contract Registration. Registration information for CCE is located at the following website; http://www.ccr.gov/. A detailed description of this requirement shall be released within the next 60 days. Interested sources may submit their names to the following address for consideration.
