- Description
- 89th Contracting, Andrews Air Force Base is looking for contractors to remove all trees and ground cover in areas designated in Appendix A. The contractor shall minimize the use heavy equipment, to the maximum extent possible, in the designated areas to prevent disturbance to the ground surface. The area shall be restored to it original conditions upon completion. Solicitation is being issued and set aside as an 8a Hubzone competitive acquisition. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Federal Business Opportunities (www.eps.gov). Paper copies WILL NOT be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation and amendments and downloading them for their files. Request this office be notified if solicitation is downloaded and you plan on submitting a proposal. Information can be faxed to (301) 981-1907 or e-mail Ms. Mary H. Lawrence (Mary.Lawrence@andrews.af.mil). The following information is requested: company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, DUNS number, and tax ID number. Interested offers must ensure they are registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to receive an award of contract. Bids are due in no later than 12 noon EDT on 27 August 2003. They may be mailed to the address in Block 7 of the solicitation, faxed to the above number or e-mailed to Ms. Lawrence as above.
