Description

The 375th Contracting Office at Scott AFB IL intends to solicit and negotiate with Alion Science and Technology under authority of FAR 6.302 for the purchase 1 license and 1 year maintenance of The Mobility Simulation System (MobSim) and A Visualization Tool (SimViewer) software. Funds are not currently available for this item. When and if FY 03 funds become available, the government intends to make award. In the event that FY 03 funds do not become available by 30 Sept 03, no award will be made. The government is not liable for proposal preparation costs. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
