- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F73TJ231690200, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 33412. This requirement is BRAND NAME ONLY, no substitutes will be considered. The 375th Contracting Flight plans to issue an award for the contractor to provide the following: Qty of 2 ea Codinics 1660 Network Imaging System Printers PN NP1660, Qty 2 ea Postscript Level II Cards PN 1600-PS, Qty 22 ea AUI RJ45 10/100BaseT Transceiver, PN TRN-10BT, Qty 2 ea AUI Thin Coax Transceiver, PN TRN 10B2, Qty 2 ea - software updates for period of one year, PN 1660 SU, Qty 2 ea - 1 year hot swap maintenance, PN 1660 DPTCC. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest price brand name only. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Price. Basis for Award: Offers shall be ranked according to price. An offer?s proposed price will be determined by multiplying the quantities by the proposed unit price. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, MUST be submitted with the quote. The provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM. Quotes WILL NOT be considered without the completed provision. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at subparagraph (b)(10) is applicable. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, apply to this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov/.
