- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: 9 each Peerless Projector Mount, P/N PJC-144, or equal, 9 each Vutec 48 inch x 36 inch Motorized Ceiling Screen, P/N LT-120, or equal, 9 each JVC 20 inch Flat Screen TV, P/N AV-20F703, or equal, 9 each JVC Hi-Fi Stereo VCR, P/N HRJ-6924, or equal, 9 each JVC Hi-Fi Stereo DVD, P/N XVN-33SL, or equal, 9 each Peerless Pro TV Mount, P/N JMW2640, or equal, 9 each VCR Hanging Mount, P/N VPM-40S, or equal, 9 each DVD Hanging Mounts, P/N VPM-40S, or equal, and 9 each Panasonic Ceiling Projector, P/N PTL-720U, or equal. Provide unit price of each item and separate labor, hardware, and installation cost. Its highly recommended contractors attend site visit scheduled for Thursday 28 August 2003 at 10:15. Site visit may be required to determine configuration and layout requirements. All contractors wishing to access Grand Forks AFB must contact TSgt Alfred Barrie at 701-747-6103 or through e-mail at alfred.barrie@grandforks.af.mil no later than Wednesday 27 August 2003, 4:30 PM CST. Directions will be given when contractors make contact with TSgt Barrie. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and implementing the changes set forth in Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F32605-03-Q-0082. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Proposals will be evaluated base on delivery date and best value to the Government. North American Industrial Classification Standard 423620 with 500 personnel applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on price and delivery related factors. The clause at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to the acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (July 2002), and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995), apply to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of these provisions with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225- 7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR database at the web site http://www.ccr.gov. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THE GOVERNMENT MAY CANCEL THIS RFQ AT ANY TIME IF FUNDS DO NOT BECOME AVAILABLE. IF FUNDS DO BECOME AVAILABLE THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO THE VENDOR WHO SUPPLIES THE SUCCESSFUL QUOTE.
