- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial repair prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information attached to this notice. This announcement with its attachments constitutes the only solicitation; a sole source proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement is for repair of C-130 Landing Gear Control Unit, a basic year and one annual option, best estimated quantity is 25 each per year, NSN 5930-01-391-8430LG, Part Number A451M10A. Source: Eaton Aerospace, CAGE code 96182. This is not a solicitation for competitive offers. Solicitation Nr is Request for Proposal F09603-03-R-30112. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The associated standard industrial classification code is 334419. Proposed contract line item number(s) will be established for teardown, test, and evaluation, repair, production data,(G009)reporting, and final flow days reporting. Items are to be repaired in accordance with the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Appendix C. Data reporting shall be in accordance with Contract Data Requirements Lists (DD Forms 1423) attached. FOB, inspection, and acceptance are at origin; required turn-around-time is 30 days. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition; see the solicitation document for any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies. Quality, price, and other factors will be evaluated in that order of importance. Offeror is to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, as does the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. See solicitation attached for additional clauses. The contractor's commercial warranty shall apply.
