- This announcement is for a camera purchase. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Hamamatsu Photonic Systems, Bridgewater, NJ. The following items are being procured: Item 0001: Hamamatsu P/N C6860-21, Synchroscan Fesca Streak Camera Main Unit, includes S-20 streak tube, Lens Output Item 0002: Hamamatsu P/N M6861, Synchroscan sweep unit, 50ps to 1/6f (f: synchroscan frequency) Item 0003: Hamamatsu P/N A1976-01, Input Optics with Variable Slit, F/5 Item 0004: Hamamatsu P/N C4742-95-10ST, Digital CCD Camera; 10-bit, 1024 x 1024 Item 0005: Hamamatsu P/N HPD-TA/DIG, Streak Image Analysis Package: HPD-TA Software and Key, Frame Grabber with I/F cable, GPIB Card and Cable, WS2005 Pentium PC Item 0006: Hamamatsu P/N C1808-03, Optical Trigger Unit This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-3 Contractor Representations and Certifications apply to this acquisition and are attached for completion.
