- Description
- The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source 6-month contract extension to the existing STRATCOM Information Technology Support (SITS) contract with two additional 3-month options to Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Corporation in order to provide "continued" (SITS) support until the follow-on contract, the USSTRATCOM Information Technology Capabilities Contract (ITCC), is awarded. Draft documents containing information such as performance objectives, service levels, and equipment lists, regarding the ITCC requirements are available on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/USAF/ACC/55CONS/F25600-03-R-0006/listing.html This contract extension will be awarded 1 Oct 03 under Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is an extension to a previously competed contract. Northrop Grumman possesses unique ongoing task experience and provides the required staffing labor mix of skills and key security clearances required by USSTRATCOM in order to provide "continued" SITS support until the follow-on contract is awarded. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received by COB [16:30 CDT] 2 Sep 2003 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
