- Description
- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is accepting proposals from vendors to furnish/deliver and pick-up commercial items to its veteran population. Vendor shall be required to perform deliveries to the following areas: Western Pennsylvania, Southeast Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland. Contract performance calls for a base year (11/1/03 - 9/30/04) and 2 one-year renewals at the Government's option. This acquisition is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns. All vendors submitting proposals shall have a service center physically located in the geographical area in which service is provided and maintained residency for a minimum of 3 years. All interested parties must submit a written response to the attention of the Contracting Officer. No telephone request will be honored. All qualified and responsive offerors may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. Award is subject to the availability of funds for fiscal year 04. Bid opening will be held at the VA Highland Drive facility in Bldg. 4, Conference Room #373-E at exactly 10:00AM on September 25, 2003.
