- RFQ 786-50-04 Type L1 Small Flat Granite Markers for Local Inscription Program Deliver F.O.B. Destination, estimated quantity of 12,102 (base year) blank L1 type small flat granite markers to the marker inscription contractor(s) designated in the solicitation. Markers must be manufactured in accordance with standards set forth in the solicitation. Contract includes base period of date of award through September 30, 2004, with three 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2007. Multiple awards may result from this solicitation. Evaluation procedures will be specified in the solicitation. It is anticipated that sample marker will be required within 10 days of date of award and initial delivery of markers must be made within 15 days of receipt of order to do so. Subsequent deliveries will be made on a monthly basis to the designated inscription contractors This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 327991 and a size standard of 500 is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. Requests for hard copy solicitations must be in writing to Chief, Centralized Contracting Division, and accompanied by a certified check or money order in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) (non-refundable) payable to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Please reference Solicitation No. IFB 786-50-04 on remittance. Telephone and fax requests will not be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails on or about 08 September 2003. Copies of the solicitation may also be obtained FREE OF CHARGE on or about 08 September 2003, via VAs Business Opportunities System, at the following Internet URL address: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=786-50-04. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Bidders are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the URL. See Numbered Note 1.
