- Description
- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Medical Centers at Milwaukee, WI; Madison, WI and Tomah, WI and Iron Mountain, MI; with their requirements for bread and bakery products. Anticipated period of performance is October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is October 1,2003. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about August 25, 2002. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 311812, Commercial Bakeries. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
