- Description
- The James A. Haley Veterans=92 Hospital, Tampa, FL intends to negotia= te sole source with Steris Corp. for a Basil Model 9500, Cage and Rack Washer, to replace existing Basil Model 4602 DD. The contractor is to deinstall, decontaminate and dispose of the existing cage and rack washer. The VA shall make all site/pit preparations for the installation of the replacement cage and rack washer. The contractor shall furnish, assemble and install the Basil 9500 in accordance with the Statement of Work. Contractor shall also provide on-site operational training for the new system. Due to restrictive room size, the replacement unit must fit exactly into the existing pit, size 80=94L x 76=94W, room ceiling height is 120=94 from pit, 108=94 from floor, with automatic inward sliding doors. NAICS CODE 423490 applies, Solicitation RFP 673-87-03 to be released on or about 08/20/03.
