- Description
- It is the intent of the DVA Medical Center to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Badger Hawkeye American Red Cross, 4860 Shaboygan Avenue, Madison, WI 53703 for blood components. alternate consideration will only be given to a company, which (1) could provide all of the required blood and blood components and comply with any and all applicalbe laws, requirements, regulations, standards, specifications of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare ORganizations and other appliable local, state, and federal authorities (2) whose supply must be able to deliver blood by 2:00 p.m. the same day as ordered, and (3) shall furnish as part of its offer all descriptive literature and technical data sheets necessary for the purchasing activity. Failure to provide this information will cause your offer to be rejected as nonresponsive. Offers are due by 9/11/03. No oral offers will be accepted. See note #22.
