- Description
- The VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH, has a requirement to renovate 4 passenger elevators, two located in building 302 and two located in building 310, Project # 552-03-121, Solicitation # RFP 552-33-03. The Contractor shall provide, but not be limited to providing, all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and preparation of the site,including demolition to perform this work in accordance with the solicitation and specifications. No drawings are available for this project. Project is to be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bid Bond in the amount of 20% is required. The Awardee will be required to provide Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS code) for this project is 238990, Size Standard is $12,000,000.00. Estimated Dollar value is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation is currently available for downloading. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at the Business Opportunities System (BOS) website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number or FedBizOpps Synopsis http://www.eps.gov. It is our intent to limit dissemination to electronic medium. No fax, telephone or e-mail requests for solicitation copies will be honored. Any questions regarding the solicitation contents, or general questions must be in writing on the Firm=92s letterhead, as well as requests for copies. All correspondence must include the Company=92s name, Point of Contact, the solicitation number, phone and fax number. They may be mailed to the Contracting Officer at the address listed above. No questions will be accepted after September 11, 2003. Offerors are advised it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including any amendments. A pre-bid conference will be held September 11, 2003 at 10:00 AM in building 408, 1st floor conference room. After that meeting a site visit will be made. This will be the only scheduled site visit and conference. All proposals must be received by 11:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time, September 23, 2003. Subject to the availability of funds.=20
